What style of massage do you do? I provide a holistic therapeutic and relaxing full body massage, by integrating Shiatsu, Thai and Swedish, reflexology, sports and deep tissue massage techniques, massaging along the muscles and releasing bands of tension.I also apply various Kinesiology techniques during my massages, including acupressure and stress diffusion, applied to specific points along the meridians [the body's energy pathways], which help to balance our "internal energies", so vital to our overall health and emotional well being. All these techniques are incorporated in such a way that the massage is firmly flowing and relaxing, and the results that unfold are energizing and deeply calming.
What makes your style of massage so good? Simply because I am not restricted to only one technique or style, you will be massaged according to your needs which will be discussed with you prior to your session. Whether you require a softer touch or prefer deeper work, you will always receive a thorough and balanced session. Body, Mind and Spirit. Each and every time.
Will a single massage relieve my pain or stress and make me feel better? Yes and No. Masage will almost immediately have a positive impact on most stress related problems, and many of my clients find that a monthly massage does wonders for their stress. For my more sports orientated clients, fort-nightly sessions are part of their training.
But if you have ever had a massage and did not notice an immediate difference afterwards, then you are not alone. Some clients feel the difference the next day, some three or four days later, and some not at all. That happens because many of the positive effects of massage are cumulative. In other words, the more massage you get, the more benefit it generally has.
Unfortunately, most people can't or won't commit to a series of treatments. Instead, they have a single session and expect to get the same results as they would from a series of sessions. While you can very definitely get results from a single session, you will only get the maximum benefit from regular massage. That doesn't mean you have to receive a massage weekly. Even a monthly or every six week treatment can be effective in turning massage into a regular part of your life. I just want you to have realistic expectations as to the benefits if you chose to have sessions less often. If you do decide to become a regular client (and I'm certain you will) please take advantage of my discounted packages. They are a great way to make your sessions more affordable per treatment.
Which areas of Perth WA do you cover? I mainly operate North of the Swan River. Areas that I frequently visit are Carine, City Beach, Claremont, Cottesloe, Dalkeith, Doubleview, Floreat, Glendalough, Hillarys, Innaloo, Karrinyup, Mosman Park, Nedlands, North Beach, Osborne Park, Peppermint Grove, Scarborough, Shenton Park, Sorrento, Subiaco, Swanbourne, Trigg, Tuart Hill, Wembley Downs and Woodlands. However, I do have clients South of the river. So if your area is not listed, please don't hesitate to call. What do I need to provide for my massage? Absolutely nothing! Just a suitable space for the massage table. Your therapist will provide everything needed for your massage, including clean draping towels.
What is your policy regarding the products you use during a massage? I insist on professional products that only contain environmentally friendly ingredients. My unscented, water dispersible massage oils are made in Australia and contains no animal derived products. Unscented oil works best as it does not contain ingredients that could cause an allergic reaction. My special balms are made mainly from organic beeswax and are either scented or unscented. Scented balms contain essential oils. All massage equipment is cleaned using Australian made non-toxic, non-pollutant, non-flammable, non-abrasive and 100% biodegradable cleaner.
Do you offer 60 minute massages? Because my massage style is holistic, 60 minutes does not allow enough time for me to deliver a thorough massage. If you prefer 60 minute sessions because of health or other reasons, please mention it to me before you book your session. I will gladly try my best to accomodate your request in a way that benefits us both.
Are you available after hours? Absolutely! That's the beauty of a mobile massage service. If you are stuck in the office or out on the road all day, or prefer having your massage after your afternoon or evening exercising, your time preferences can almost always be catered for.
I start my last massage for the day at around 6:30, and normally don't take appointments on Sundays.
How often should I receive a massage? Massage should be an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Just like physical exercise, yoga and meditation, massage works best if it is used as a preventative routine, rather than using it as a treatment. Most of my clients come for a fort-nightly massage, and seldom go without a massage for more than four weeks. Whether you prefer once a month, twice a month or once a week, the easiest way to stay committed to your healthy lifestyle choice is by booking your next appointment right after your massage! Another way to stay committed is to buy a massage package, which gives you the option of 3 or 5 sessions at your leisure (
and includes a discount!).
Are your massages sexual in any way? ABSOLUTELY NOT! My services are of a professional nature and the boundaries of sex and sexuality lie outside the realm of my service. If you've read nothing else on this page, please be aware that sexual behavior between client and massage therapist, whether it be physical, verbal, or even by gesture only, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
